Britto at Sea

Romero Britto  and "Allure of the Seas" a cruise ship in the Royal Caribbean cruise line created a partnership that will certainly benefit both parties. The cruise ship decided to open up a Britto gallery on their ship exhibiting Britto's work. Varying from his different works and collections through sculptures, paintings, and collectibles. Being Britto's general style to be vibrant and happy instilled in all his work, it surely generated a lot of buzz and positive feedback towards it being on the ship.
Which provides part of the answer as to how he has become so globally known and continues to be. Further expanding his mass audience and commercial aspect of his work itself. Imagining millions of people who board the cruise ship every year that are becoming further exposed to his art  or just beginning to learn about it creates massive commercial opportunity. Also with the fact that appeals to everyone by being that type of art, pop art.

The Artist-Author

It's no question why Romero Britto would be mentioned in the National Geographic traveler Miami and the Keys. With its features of details on all of what Miami has to offer, the Brazilian contemporary artist is briefly mentioned on the section "Lincoln Road", which provides details on the places that make it so unique. Talking about the art, "Britto Central Art Gallery", which clearly makes a big impact on the style of art presented many years ago whilst still withholding a modern touch today found in Miami itself through Deco Drive and Art Deco.
Although Britto is a contemporary pop artist, he can certainly add author to his checklist. Using a different form of media,  he presents his art in an ingenious way through children's books. The pictures and style obviously the same as the pieces on canvas themselves. Which captivates young children by his original style of bright colors and shapes. Not only appealing to adults, through this different way of exposing his art he gains and captures a whole different type of audience which seems his art is easily made to satisfy. Through books like, Happy! , Colors Around the World, and My Alphabet Book. Enriching a new generation knowledge of modern art, in an easy and fun way created just for children. .
Which poses the question whether his mass exposure and acceptance nationally and internationally is due to the fact that he presents his art in many ways, appealing to everyone. And if so will these actions guarantee further liking and longer artistic career because of the forms that seem to be always developing through marketing?
